Muller came down to the Hawkeyes after his high school career ended in Sun Prairie, WI after collecting almost every award at his disposal. He was named his team’s MVP, First team All State, Conference Player of the Year, District 5 Player of the Year and also the American Legion Male Athlete of the Year after his Senior season. He started out with the Arizona League Reds where after hitting .317 he was named to the AZL Post Season All-Star team. This season Muller was designated to the Class A Dayton Dragons to start the year but started off with the Billings Mustangs of the Rookie Pioneer League before heading back up to the Dragons in August .
